I recently upgraded to Active Directory then installed the adc, forestprep and domainprep then tried to upgrade exch5.5 to exch2000. The upgrade failed. It hung trying to start the exchangeSA service. Long story short I ended up having to rebuild the server and install ex 5.5 then restore from backup. I had to uninstal the adc from AD to get the 5.5 working again. I have a new ADC with 2-way Connection agreement installed and working and don't know if I should rerun the forestprep and domain prep switches...
Any advice?
Thanks

From what I know about the forest prep and domain prep it shouldn't hurt. When you run setup, it will actually run these two prep options when neccessary. The reason that Exchange has you run them seperate from install, is they can take quite a while to complete.
