Does anyone know if Retrospect 7.6 backup software uses Loss Less Compression? The reason I ask is I am inheriting a retrospect backup server that backs up our graphic design departments images. They have compression DISABLED because they said they heard it would degrade images. I thought most backup software had Loss Less compression...which would mean there would be no loss of image data? Does anyone else know if this is the case or not?
