Hey all,
I'm pretty sure this can't be done, but I thought I'd give you guys a chance to prove me wrong...

Is it possible to get the window name in ASP using VBscript? (like an ASP version of the JS window.name)

Thx,
Dave

I believe something like this would be unavailable to ASP (since that is server-side code) and could only be retrieved using client side code - if at all. I know I've done it using VB6 to connect to the browser window and then getting it from there but not using ASP itself...

I agree with Chopstik. The only things the server knows about the browser are things that the browser has chosen to share. It is even possible that the browser may report incorrect things to the server.
