I would like to be able to retrieve the extension of the phone using a Meridian Communications Adapter through a serial cable to my pc using AT commands. But I cannot find an AT command that will work. The phone we are using is a Meridian 2616. Does anyone know of any AT command that will give me this info?

Using the transparent mode AT command, ATTSP!, I get data and some of it is display data. Is there any way that I can get the extension on the display and get that data?

We really don't want to use TAPI.

Thanks to anyone with any suggestions.

Long time ago I installed a MCA adapter en tested the programmed number by typing 'ATDT 1234'.

1234 was a known 2616 and the display showed the originating 2616 with MCA
then print the DN/TN in the M1.

the (defacto) AT commands as ATDT, ATA, ATH should always be possible by my knoledge.
hope this helps,

JUST PRINT THE DN TO GET THE TN, THEN ADD 16 TO THE NUMBER TO GET THE DATA TN. SO IF YOU HAVE A VOICE TN OF 4-0-0-1 YOUR DATA TN WOULD BE 4-0-0-17.
0-16
1-17
2-18
3-19
4-20 AND SO ON
