retrieving odbc drivers for pervasive.sql 2000i 1

I've been searching for hours on the web and can't seem to find a link from where I can download the pervasive.sql 2000i odbc dsn drivers so that I could connect to peachtree 2003 journal(database). Could someone point me in the right direction.

If you've got Pervasive.SQL 2000i, then you should already have the drivers. If you don't then you can download them, as part of the engine, from Pervasive's web site (

http://www.pervasive.com).

I'm sorry.. let me respecify the question.

The issue is that I would like to access peachtree 2003 journal (.ddf i think) from a vb.net program. What I have seen from the post on this message board is that I need to set up a pervasive odbc dsn to do this. However I did not want to download the entire persits engine to accomplish this.

You have to have an engine to use the ODBC driver. THe ODBC drive for 2000i was included with the engine. If your engine doesn't have an ODBC driver installed, then you'll need to reinstall the engine. That being said, I've found out that 2000i isn't available from Pervasive any more. You'll probably want to check with Peachtree to get the ODBC driver.
There is another option and that's the Intersolv/Data Direct/Merant ODBC driver. It might work but is not going to be free.
