Retrieving deleted voicemails in VM Pro

A customer deleted a voicemail and wants it back. Is this possible?

Not using VMPro no, you may be able to download an un-delete/deleted file recovery programme and search for Wav files

if you catch it before the house keeping in the folders for the users. look in

c:/program files/avaya/ IP Office/Voicemail pro/VM/ accounts.

also if you have deleted it and want it back right away before hanging up you can press **U and it will bring the last deleted message back.
Found that actually today because I looked closer at the prompts and one said to undelete press **U so I tried it and it works, but you can not hang up and go back in, which sucks a bit because you need to catch it immediately.

kwing112000, is it not immediate? I thought the housekeeping just cleared out old messages after the timer expires for them etc not one's you delete manually. The docs don't seem to say

This is what the docs say

3.1.4 Housekeeping
This tab is used to set the Voicemail Pro server settings for automatically deleting messages and for the default playback
order of messages.
Messages are automatically deleted from the voicemail server after a set delay. This delay can be adjusted for different
message type including unread messages.
The process of housekeeping is performed after any two hour idle period, that is a period with no call into or from the
voicemail server.

If you use UMS and outloop you will still see the message when you have deleted it.
I never had the patience so see if it was gone after two hours of idle vmpro.

i have no clue. i just noticed once that there were messages in a users folder and we logged in and the user had no new or old messages from the phone. i havent tested in a while to see how long it is before they disappear.
