Retrieving data from a folder

Hi All,

I am trying to create a URL to fetch Documents inside a folder by searching through folder name. where the folder name will be dynamically given through a search page. Using the below URL I am getting the data required but I am using the ObjectId of folder. Is there any way to get the Required data bu using folder name and without using the ObjectID.

http://livelinkXXXX.com/cgi?where1=*&slice=XXXXX|objID(of

folder)|Within=<search/foldername>&func=search&objAction=NewSearch&outputformat=xml.

Pleasenote: I am searching for the folders inside a parent folder

I have used the below URL and wanted it to display the documents inside the folder name but it is displaying all the documents inside the parent folder.. please advise

Can you post the full querystring component that you are using with the values in as the above will not run as posted.

I am using the below URL where 87654321 is the slice ID, 432123456 is the parent folder object ID and 12345678 is the folder name and I want the documents inside the folder 12345678 to be displayed in xml format
