Retrieving an icon from another assembly

This might seem like a simple question, but I am not sure where to start.

I have a FormManager class in an assembly dll. There are possibly various other assemblies that each contain a component that is managed by the FormManager class. These component assemblies also contain an icon that FormManager needs to display on its menu.

How can I get the icon out of an external assembly? Right now I am loading the icon from a file, but I want to wrap it into the assembly to make it easier to deploy.
