Retrieve Spoolfile Attributes

We are trying to move the spoolfile attributes to a file when the document is spooled. The file will consist of several fields including the main splf attributes. We would then have an end user enter in a bacth number or something and find that spoolfile using the record we created with the file.

My question is how do we retrieve the attributes during spooling and move them into a file.

Not sure I understand the question.
If you are wanting to save in a user file the spooled file job creation attributes, IMHO the easiest way is to use the CL command RTVJOBA in the program that creates the spoolfile.
Put the attributes in the user file along with eg the report title that the end user can then look up.
