Retrieve of Child Datawindow Extremely Slow

The retrieve function of child datawindows is extremely slow when running Powerbuilder application on a virtual server using VMware. The slowness is only when running from a virtual server, it runs fine when running on a physical server. I am running PB 10.2.0.

Has anyone else encountered this problem? If so, do you have a solution for the slowness?
