retrieve deleted email outlook express

You may be able to see these e-mails if:
1. They were just recently deleted.
2. Outlook express has not compacted the folder yet.
It won't hurt to try this.
1. Do a search for *.dbx
2. Find the Deleted Items.dbx in the results folder.
3. Right click this folder.
4. Choose Open With and then choose Wordpad.
5. Make sure you REMOVE the tick in the 'Always use this program to open this file' diaglog
6. Most of the results will be garbage but if you scroll close to the end of the display you may be able to view some of the emails that have been deleted but not compacted.
