Retrieve DB detail from CE CI_INFOOBJECTS

Hi,

I'm working with CR & CE10 with Oracle 9i.

My questions is if it's possible to retrieve Report Data Source (table or StoredProcedure) field information from CE DB objects, which I mean CI_INFOOBJECTS. We have around 300 Crystal Reports either convert or newly developed to work on CE10, for the maintenance purposes, we need to have a file like Report Dictionary, which should contain report#, report name, report type (schedule or on-demand) and report DB info as well.

My question may be silly, but I just want to make sure I didn't miss any good features since we have so many experts around.

Thanks Brian,

The thread is very good. However, The data you retrieved are not the datasource field information that I need. Actually, I even don't think CI_INFOOBJECT needs to contain those information (field info) in terms of generating a report output in CE.

You can get the following from CI_INFOOBJECTS

Report #
Report Name
Schedule Type (Under Scheduling info)
and DB info (Under Processing Info)


From the query builder, if you run 'select * from ci_infoobjects' you'll get everything in ci_infoobjects
