We are deploying a suite of web based applications and want to have the capability for the user to see what version of ICA client is installed on their PC. Currently when the user logs onto the web page they see a notification that lets them know if the client is not installed. After the install or if the client is already installed the user will see Citrix installed. We would like a script that will allow the user to also see what version is installed so it can be compared/verified to the recommended version. We have found this functionality within Netscape but not IE which is the majority of our user base.

All help will be greatly appreciated.

Thanks in advance

Are you using Nfuse? When Nfuse checks for the ICA client it does check for the version also. You can set it to notify the user or just upgrade it silently.
