Retrieval of Data from Tape

Hi, My Name is Ismail and I work as a Systems and Network Admin.

I use to have a Veritas 8.6 software which I use for my backup until 3 Months ago when I migrated to IOMEGA Backup Pro. There was a serious lightening and my Application Server including the Hard Drives got damaged.

Now I need help on how to retrieve my Veritas Tape Backup

Re-install backup exec (if needed), then perform the following against your backup tape:-

Inventory
Catalogue
Restore

If it doesn't leak oil it must be empty!!
