How do I determine the calling URL? I have found tried using document.referrer which apparently should work, but comes back blank. Any ideas?

As far as I know there is no reliable way to determine the referring url. Tracy Dryden

Hi,

I don't know if you can rely on it, but you could try the history... And as far as I know, its done with cgi...

Unless the calling URL is from the same domain as the current URL you will not be allowed to find out what it is via the history either (and maybe not even then). Nor from another frame. This is a violation of the "same origin policy" of the javascript/dhtml security model.
