I have installed a new HD in the server and I want to retire the old one. The new one is a 9g SCSI and its formated to NTFS with 2 equal partitions. Can someone point me to the info that will explain the best way to go about this.

TIA Crasher

How is your server set up? Quickest way is to mirror the NT partition on the old one to a partition on the new drive. Then down the server, remove the old one and boot to the new one. You would need to edit boot.ini to pick up the correct UNC path.

At that point break the mirror cos there is no second drive and you are running on the new drive.
Zel
zel@zelandakh.co.uk
