Retake CCNA??

If I currently have a CCNA 1.0 do I need to pass CCNA 2.0 before starting on my CCNP? If so, I am gonna be crushed because I am almost ready to take the CCNP Switching exam.

Has your 1.0 expired? If you got it in the last three years, you are probably OK. But you need to finish the entire CCNP track before your CCNA expires.
