Retaining RUN commands for reuse 2

I'd appreciate instructions on how to retain RUN commands that you type in so you can use them again. The specific command I'm talking about is C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL.EXE USER.EXE,EXITWINDOWS . I have to use this to shut down; otherwise my computer hangs. Thanks, George
 
Why not put it into a batch file and then you can have a shortcut on your pc. just put the command into a text file and save it as shutdown.bat or similar, then you'll have it whenever you want. ---------------

Right-click on desktop -> New -> Shortcut
Enter&quot;C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL.EXE USER.EXE,EXITWINDOWS&quot; <NoQuotes>
Next
Make a name for it (Can be whatever you want)
OK
