Retaining RUN commands for reuse 2

I'd appreciate instructions on how to retain RUN commands that you type in so you can use them again. The specific command I'm talking about is C:\WINDOWS\RUNDLL.EXE USER.EXE,EXITWINDOWS . I have to use this to shut down; otherwise my computer hangs. Thanks, George

Why not put it into a batch file and then you can have a shortcut on your pc. just put the command into a text file and save it as shutdown.bat or similar, then you'll have it whenever you want. ---------------

Make a name for it (Can be whatever you want)

Here is a FREE program that was written by a person from the old PCMAG.com site. It will do any kind of shutdown combination you can think of. Very nice and not buggy at all. She has lots of free utilities at the site check them out.

Do you have mapped drives? Have you determined if it's a bad exit sound file? Have you tried the shutdown patch(if it's 98).
