Retaining placement while using scaling tool? 1

Hi! Is there a way for me to ensure that the placement of my placed graphic is retained when using the Scaling Percentage Tool? I would like it to stay where I had put it, using the upper-left corner as my anchor.

With the Scale tool, click on the corner, or anywhere else, that you want as the anchor. A marker will appear. Then when you scale, either with tool. via transform pallette or onbject menu/transform, the object will stay where you want it
