retaining Microsoft word doc hyperlinks

Is there anyway to retain Microsoft word hyperlinks when you import a word documetn into Pagemaker 7.0?

I want to be able to use hyperlinks that are pointing to files on a server.

For example:

The hyperlink location in word is s:\document\totals.xls

I have never tried this from Word, but I doubt that the hyperlinks would convert.

Open PM and select Windows> Show Hyperlinks. Use the popup arrow on the right side of the palette to create New Sources and Anchors. The Help menu is really pretty good for this. I was able to figure it out during a class I took on webquests. There is way too much info on creating anchors and sources for this space.

Check it out and see if it doesn't work for you.
