I am using Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro, and MS Word 2000.
I have a word document that has a table of contents, but when I convert it into a PDF I lose the links from the able of contents, so the users cannot click on the Contents heading to jump to the relevant page. I was on a course recently and raised this issue, and was shown a PDF menu in Word that had the option to Retain Links when converting, however I do not have any PDF options in my word Menu. When I convert from Word I have to either send it as a print to Acrobat, or open Acrobat and choose to create a new file from there, and I can't see any settings in Acrobat for retaining the links from Word.
The only solution I can see at the minute is to go manually through the PDF and recreating all the links again.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
