I have a DN, 941 which currently has a T7316e and most of the time it is forwarded to VM. I want to be able to remove the phone but not lose the forwarding and have it come up (not in service).

Looking for suggestions on how to configure something like this. Basically an extension without a phone.

thank you

Use an Analogue ATA adapter or one of the keycoded analogue extns.

You can remove the analogue phone but you cant remove the digital phone.

If you are forwarding a particular target line to voicemail use AA With a CCR home mailmox node to transfer the call to the mailbox.

This way you dont need a phone.
