====================

Is there a way to publish a report (or "save as... enterprise") such that any "current values" set on parameters within the RPT on the desktop are preserved?

EG. Parameter "A" (String) has two possible values - DETAIL and SUMMARY - with DETAIL set as the Default value on the Desktop. When I publish that RPT to BOE-XI the Parameter Value for Parameter "A" shows as "EMPTY" in the CMC Object Settings. I have to manually reset the default value from the two possible values in the CMC.

Is there a way to save or publish a new RPT that would set the Parameter "A" (String) value to DETAIL in the CMC Object Settings at the time on publishing based on the "current values" in the RPT file?

Yes, use the Publishing wizard and not Crystal Reports or the CMC to publish reports.

You still need to set the value via the Publishing Wizard, it doesn't pick-up the "Current Value" from the RPT file.
