I need help! I am new to microsoft access and am running a select query and after I run my query on this machine (the other machine works fine) I am able to modify data in my datasheet view (something I want protected when I run queries). How do I change this. What is wrong???

Thanks for your help

To be sure a qurey is not updatable simply use the DISTINCT keyword:
SELECT DISTINCT ...

Hope This Helps, PH.
