Restrictions

Hi, I’m new,
In my company we have an IPO 500 and I have the MANAGER 6.0(14), I am trying to program something restrictions, but I'm very confused, could you help me please.
We have 46 extensions, 1 E1 with 30 channels and we need the next restrictions:
Extensions 201 to 216 dial to Local, National, International.
Extensions 217 to 234 dial to Local, National.
Extensions 235 to 246 dial to Internal only.

The easiest way would be to create 2 User Rights Templates.

In the UK anything 00N is inter, 0N is national numbers starting 2-9 are local.

I would have 1 User Rights with a short code in like 00N, busy, 0. Set Extns 217-234 to this Template.

I would have a second short code with Outgoing Call Barring turned on. Set 235-246 to this.

the other Extns you can leave alone as you effectively want nothing barred.

Don;'t forget to set your Emergency short codes if using an outgoing call bar.

I don't know the exact shortcodes for dialling access in the US.

personaly I use System shortcodes to bar calls 00N, 09N & 0n if needed
then create user rights to allow them when req.

this means that when a new user is added they have a restricted profile by default & cannot get international or premium rate access by accident.
