Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.

Is there a way to restrict the size of documents allowed in a document library? I want people to only be able to upload documents that are 50 MB or less. But I cant see a way to do this.

Thanks again!

Also, as sort of a follow up question: is there a way to display file sizes in a document library? So users can see the sizes of the files before opening?

Thanks!

Ooops. Never mind about the 2nd question. Found the answer.

You can add file size as a display option in the "Edit View" area.

Hello,

The default max size of files in sharepoint is set to 50MB/file, you can however change this setting in the Central Administration for SharePoint.

In the Central Administration, chose Configure virtual server settings, chose your virtual server. Under Virtual Server Management chose Virtual server general settings. There you will see Maximum upload file size and by default it is set ti 50MB.

Regards,
Thomas
