I have a Remote Terminal server on Windows 2003 and I have several off-site users who like to use Remote Desktop Connection to this server. and all the remote users are working great now. My question is that is there a tool or any way to restrict remote users not to see any content in the C drive , or don't let them see a certain programs from the program menus, or don't want them to access to the control panel..etc.

Please give me clue.

Thanks

Create an group, populate with the restricted users, create and OU, add the group to the OU. Create a new group policy within the OU, edit the group policy of the OU. You will have to find all the policies you need. You will need to apply security settings to file files and directories also.

Basically, if done right, you can restrict users to running only programs or MMCs or seeing drives you allow.
