Restriction to perticular IP

Is any way restrict to perticular IP on solaris 2.7.I do not have any proxy or firewall.

add the IP as the local host, by creating an interface with that ip ... that'll stop anyone from accessing it ...

Can you clear me your Point?My System IP is 192.9.200.2 and want to restrict 192.9.200.18 IP.I want No body is allowed from 192.9.200.18 IP Address.

The TCP-Wrapper from Wietse Venema (wietse@wzv.win.tue.nl) will be the right tool for you.

Install it from

http://www.sunfreeware.com,

read the man-pages and insert a line like

ALL: 192.9.200.18

into the file

/etc/hosts.deny
