Hi.
We are using latest CM/SM with 150 user, these are all SIP user (J series). I wants to restrict five extension to dial only two specific cell numbers(0515xxxxx/0516xxxxx), no other dialout facility should be available to these two extensions. However remaining users should be able to dial all cell numbers including these two cell nos.
Any help will be much appreciated.

You could make those strings in ARS go to a route with a COR of 0 - like your emergency route for 911 or whatever you call for help wherever you are.

Then if those phones had a COR of 0, they'd be able to call only those numbers.

That's probably the easiest way. There are many ways to skin that cat and this one obviously would break as soon as you had 2 other people that needed to call any number in the world EXCEPT 0515xxxxx and 0516xxxxx.

But this is probably all you'll need.

Just put those 2 users in their own COR with Calling Party Restriction "all-toll" and then allow the numbers you want them to dial in the toll table

Thanks all for the help. Kyle i understand your tip.
Bignose can you please help me to understand what is "Calling Party Restriction "all-toll

So the toll tables are useful for us as they support multi location so makes it easy to do restriction levels on each location for a group of COR's assigned to each location. But also can be used on none multi location.

Obviously "change station xxxx" to set the new COR

"Change toll 0" where 0 is the leading digit

So took a guess at the length 11 and the above allows them for unrestricted list 1 which was assigned to the COR, location based is just "change toll location x y" (x=Location, y=leading digits)

Thanks very much bignose. It was a very nice new learning for me regarding the restrictions configuration.

Yep I only started into Red from Blue a couple of years ago always learning[bigsmile]

from the book

This screen associates dialed strings to the system’s Restricted Call List (RCL), Unrestricted Call List (UCL), and Toll List. Users can be forced to dial an account code if you associate dialed strings with CDR Forced Entry of Account Codes.

CDR FEAC
so x is - Requires an account code from a call whose facility COR requires a Forced Entry of Account Code.
