I have a gate phone which I would like to accept calls only from certain extensions. What are the different ways that I can do this? If the best way is to put the gate phone in a separate COR and restricting every other COR except the certain extensions from dialing, I have a lot of work on my hands.

Just curious if there's a more efficient way of doing this.

Thanks.

That's the way I'd done things like this in the past. It's really not that much work, you're only changing the COR(s), the gate station, and the stations that need to call the gate.

My understanding is that I need to change each and every active COR.

I have 50 CORs, it will be a good amount of work.

You do have to touch all of the COR's, however, it doesn't take as long as you might think. I had to change 35 COR's and I was done in about 15 minutes.
