Restricting users from creating scheduled tasks

I need to find a way to keep users from creating scheduled tasks.

Gabbychik -<br>That is going to depend quite a bit on which RDBMS/OS you are using.&nbsp;&nbsp;Could you supply a little more information?

sorry about that, i'm using sql server 6.5

I answered my own question.&nbsp;&nbsp;The default permission for sp_add task is given to the public group under the db msdb.&nbsp;&nbsp;All I had to do was revoke execute permission from public.
