Hi All,
Not sure of the best place to post this in so sorry if it's in the wrong forum.
I need to find a way of restricting which programs a user can access when they login to a win7 pro machines.
The programs are installed and run locally from the laptops, and the laptops are part of a domain. Now i know i can set a restriction in the local gpeditor to restrict what programs they can see but i can't see a way to point that restriction to a patricular user.
So the issue is I have 2 programs call them A and B. I have 3 domain users, C,D and E.
I want user C to only be able to run Program A, and user D to only be able to run program B, and user E can run both.
These programs are only installed locally on the laptops themselves they are not network programs, so is there a way i can do this? Is there a script or a GP setting i can use to set this?
Thanks in advance.

Regards
Max
Never argue with an idiot, they drag you down to their level and beat you with experience

Never mind worked it out found a setting in GP that prevents programs from running. Just have to move some users around so i can apply the GP to them.
