Hi,

I've been unable to find a good tutorial on how to (if possible) restrict users logging onto a 2003 standard r2 terminal server to only run certain programs. The server is part of an Active Directory setup.

I want users to just be able to run one 3rd party software piece and save files in their home directory as well as print to their locally connected printers.

Is this at all possible?

Yes, you do.

In Active Directory Users and Computers get properties of TS user -> go to "Environment" tab -> check "Start the following program at logon" -> and type information of program (same of a shortcut).

Sory for my english.
