Is there any way that I can restrict access to specific records in a database? I am the admin but there are specific records that my employer wants to be able to view by himself, basically giving a user of the database full access to certain records with no one else able to view them? Any advice would be a great help.

As Admin you will always be able to see everything if you want to. You could build a layout that would eliminate the field(s) from your normal view but you as Admin could always get in there if you wanted to. Admin by definition has full access to everything.

my only guess would be to create a filter, and apply it to just your employer's login account. That way, he'll only see those specific records. And perhaps another filter for everyone else.

You are talking about records and not fields, correct?
