I need to configure a way to limit access to the internet by both users and computers (if possible through Active Directory). Here is my situation: There are certain users in our domain that should be able to login and have internet access, but those that don't will have 3 workstations set up for them to log-in and check the internet. We would like to limit them to these computers so that we can monitor them and limit the time used on useless surfing. Thanks in advance for your time and assitance.

What do you mean by limit?? The internet is either allowed or not in Windows 2000. If you want to limit or monitor use a proxy server.

Ash.

How would I limit specific users and computers through the proxy? It seems that any limitations configured through the proxy would effect everyone.

Thanks again,

DCor

That would totally depending what proxy server software you are running.
