I cannot restrict a users access in InfoView.

I would like to restrict all access apart from viewing reports.

I have logged into the CMC created a new user which automatically is a member of the everyone group.

I have also created a new group, selected the user and have not selected administrator or everyone as the member of...

When I go back into user account the user is still a member of the everyone group even though I have removed it.

When I login to InfoView I can still see all public folders.

Any help much appreciated!

what type of authenication are you using?? Enterprise, windows AD, or NT???

Have you set the right on the folders to only the groups you would like to have access?

Everyone" is always a member of the EVERYONE group, you can't remove them.

In the CMC go to Home -> Settings -> Rights, and set the EVERYONE group to "No Access".

Then users by default have "No Access" - and you have to explicitly grant rights to their Folders at the Group Level.

Example - "Sales" folder has rights granted to the SALES_TEAM group.
