Hi all,

I am wondering if there is a way of refusing emails sent to paticular email address`s using sendmail.

ie.

I have an aliases set up...
engineers@mydomain.com
which forwards email to fred and john two of my engineers.

However I don`t want fred and john to know each other or comunicate, is it therefore possible to configure the server to only allow emails from me to access the aliases.
Or will I have to set up majordormo or similar?

Thanks in advance for your help.

I was going to ask the same question. I've created aliases for all the areas of my company, and also an alias (spam@mycompany.com) gathering all the aliases, so I can spam all my users with just one e-mail. But for obvious reasons, I don't want anybody else different from me, or special list of people to send mails to these aliases.

I've sent some, and I've kept "the secret", but I want to "share it" with the managers, of course, with the proper restrictions.

Any idea on how to do that?

I'm running sendmail 8.11.2 under Redhat 7.1
