Restricting a ddi to one call at a time 1

Is there any way to do this?

Want to set up an advert of some sort, calls straight to a mailbox, but only want to recieve one call at a time to not stress the VM resources.

Can't seem to figure it out.

You could use a NGN that has network queueing and restrict it that way.

Tom - how about the message played on the HG queue with only one queue position. set the queue announcement to 1 second.

yeah - add the queued option in VM Pro for the HG, play the announcement, then set Next to "Leave Mail" or even a voice Question might work better on the queue. all you are doing then is building an AA on the HG queue rather than on the ICR

this works a treat - done it for a customer with a similar situation.

What about pointing the DDI to a module.
Then a module with an assisted transfer to the forward.
When busy or no answer to a mailbox.

needs the load taken off VM peter - so the IPO will drop the call when one caller is in the queue already based on the HG settings.... Just dont run a missed calls report ;-)
