I have 10 web pages on a Windows 2000 intranet server. Everyone has to use Windows Network login to view Intranet web pages. I need to restrict who can view 10 web pages which are located in this directory -> C:/webServerApps/restrictedDirectory

I would like to restrict the access to view these pages by the Network Intranet Login username.

Is this something that can be done where the server admin gives privileges to certain people that can be the only ones to view pages located in C:/webServerApps/restrictedDirectory ?

Please advise.

Let everyone see it, but then put these 10 people in a group...then assign that group to that folder security and set the Deny Read access.

I agree with the above advise but I would go one step further. Within IIS,right click the folder. Choose Permissions. Set the NTFS permissions as needed.

I hope you find this post helpful.

Regards,

Mark
