Restrict users server folder access

Our users need to be able to read and write to certain folders on our Win2K server BUT I do not want them to be able to Move the folders which happens by accident from time to time. It seems that you can easily control what users can and cannot do within a folder but control of the folder itself seems limited.
 
What if you set read only permission on a the parent directory (which contains all the other directories) and then set read write permissions on the subdirectory contents... Peter Van Eeckhoutte
