Does anybody know how I can restrict user to view only a single address list in Exchange 2000?

Hi rmarder,

This is not a basic configuration. Microsoft has described this issue in Q318635. I hope this will help you.

I will allso recommed you to not do this, if not absolutly nessesary.
You will get problems with other applications and then you need to reconfigure then as well.

For example:
BackupExec brick-level backup will not work.
Standard offline address book will not work.
Antivirus program on exchange may get problem to find the mailboxes.

Test youre configuration carefull in a test-enviroment.

Thanks and thanks for the tips. We will test this thoroughly. We want to create two Address Lists for internal temporary use only while completing Training and Exercise operations so I think we could live with a few 'issues' - just as we have too with M$ everyday ;-)
