Hi,
In my wife's office, they sometimes have to send an email outside of their company, to around 100 recipients, all of whom know nothing about each other. They use what I guess is a standard method of hiding all the email addresses, by Bcc-ing everybody and sending it to themselves.
Recently, completely by accident, the person who undertakes this task, put all the email addresses in the To: field, meaning that everybody could see everybody else.
They received a number of complaints about this and ended up apologising profusely for the mistake.
So, the question is, is there a rule that can be written or a piece of VBA that can be created, that can stop the email from being sent and pop up a warning box if there are more than, say 10, recipients in the To: and Cc: fields?
The emailer being used is Outlook 2003.
Many thanks in advance for any help.
Regards,
Marc
