Given this example of an iframe over a Flash movie...

... Is there some way, other than opening a non-resizable popup to hold this content...), to restrict the re-positioning of the iframe within a range, when the browser window is resized by the user?

In other words, the iframe being roughly centered over the Flash movie, can I somehow prevent it from not being centered, and aligning itself to the left border, when the user reduces the width of the browser to less than the Flash movie's size?

In fact, maybe this is a better example...

I want to prevent the iframe, from leaving the area where it appears to be embedded in the Flash movie, when the user resizes the browser window to some width less than the Flash movie's size...

Appreciate any help... Thanks.

Oh, forgot to say you should load a movie to see the iframe's content, in the second above link...

Also, if it isn't possible, is there any way, again other than opening a non-resisable popup, to possibly restrict the minimum width of the browser window, based on the size of the embedded Flash movie?

Ok, got it to work with FF, by adding the min-width: 550px parameter...

<div id="Layer1" style="min-width: 550px; position:relative; z-index:2; overflow: visible; left: -66; top: -370;">

Now the question is, what's the workaround for IE6, because obviously the above (as most stuff) doesn't work on IE!

I must admit I was (and still am not) fully aware what your real question is. And you seem to have fixed your problem before I could.

Other than that, searching on google for IE6 min-width will give you plenty of workarounds.

Well thanks... At least it's some answer...
I thought the example demonstrated the problem, but obviously not...
I want to restrict the repositioning of the iframe (in fact the division that holds the iframe), so that when the user resizes the browser window (on IE6) to a smaller width than the Flash movie, the iframe roughly stays positioned over the lighter grey area in the Flash movie, as it does on Safari or FF... As it is now, it moves out to the left and out of the Flash movie, breaking the illusion i'm trying to create, that some html content is loaded within a Flash movie...

Anyways, I'll google what you suggested to see if I can find a solution... Thanks for the suggestion.
