Simple question - sorry

I can't find the links for restricting desktop settings such as display resolution, backgrounds, themes etc in the group policy editor - do they exist?

Cheers,

J

You need to look in the User Settings -> Admin Templates -> Desktop, and User Settings -> Admin Templates -> Control Panel -> Display

However, setting default Screen Resolution is not a default GP option. You'll need either to add this to the default Admin Template, or download another template from someone else.

For how to do this:
Customise ADM Templates
