Restrict Calls

I would like to restict calls to all area codes except for 3 local ares codes. Do I have to list all the area codes and restrict them that way or is there an easier way?

do you dial 10 digits or 11 for all calls. Usually i would change the ARS to have all the short codes barred and then just add in the ones you want to enable.

then all you other codes would be barred.

Put the codes in their User shortcodes then

I put the codes in their user SC...but I'm still able to dial other numbers.Do I need to send that user to another ARS?

i would probably still use ARS for this. copy the main ARS and make a new one. then use a user short code like 9N, dial, N and send to the new ARS.
