Hello All,

(IP Manager v10 16)
(Avaya 5410)
(VoicemailPro V8)

Is there any way I can restrict users Volume settings on the handset or via Pro\Manager ? I have certain groups where it is critical these calls are answered and would like to force the volume to be noticeable rather than the current lowest setting people tend to change this too....

Thanks in advance

Tick the box "Reset Volume After Calls", they will get sick after the first few calls :)

Ahhhh, but how would i set a very loud ring as a default? ie set it to reset loud?

Thanks

I have just ticked the box, Merged but still quiet, do i need to do a full re-boot?

Thanks again amriddle01

I can't remember, but if it says "immediate" when you hit save then yes, also remember it resets AFTER each call :)

Doh, I think it's the volume of the earpiece/handset it resets not the ringer, just tried it myself :)

I know rebooting the system defaults ringtone to loud, perhaps that's what confused me or cos I am old(ish) :)

Hi was reading this post. Basically it seems there isn't a way to reset the ringing volume automatically after each call without having to reboot system?
