Restrict agent login to queues

Asking for help in this department, I am running asterisk on linux with polycom 601's and asterisk management portal otherwise known as freepbx. I have 3 queues and my agents cannot seem to log in properly and the system will allow anything they type in and sometimes go beserk, does anyone know a way to program this otherwise so that only correct agent numbers can log in?
