Someone here is intending to send an excel (2k) workbook to various people within the company, but only wants certain people to see certain sheets within the book. So...
Is it possible to restrict access to individual sheets within a workbook by any means?
If the sheets are extremely sensitive, you can use VBA to make the sheets xlVeryHidden. The only way you can unhide these sheets is to use VBA. They will not even be shown in the list of hidden sheets. I have one application that requires the user to enter a password upon opening the file. Depending on who it is, I unhide the sheets that they are permitted to view. While this is not terribly difficult to do, it may be somewhat difficult to someone new to Excel VBA.
