Hi there,
I want to have a database which noone but a specified user can access it and own it.

I can't delete the dbo from users and I don't want administrators to be able to browse the database, please let me know if that's possible and how I can do it if it is.

setting only a specific user is easy, but admins can browse everthing. thus the system admin part. if you have issues where your admins are not trusted, you have other problems. If everyone is an admin, time to redo security. everyone used to be an admin here. once i became dba, i removed admin from all but one other person who is thet network admin but doesnt really know jack about sql. if the devs need to do something when im not around, they go and ask him to do it. i make them all dbo of their databases.

if they are that worried about the data, tell them to set up an access database or something. or set up thier own instance of sql server. just for them.
