I would like to restrict all extensions from dialing 411 and 1411. Would using a disallow list work or would ARS be a better fix. I see where using a disallow list you must assign the extensions to the list. But I am not sure how to use ARS to restrict the 1411 and 411 calls. I have heard where people have directed those calls to pools with no trunks but I am unsure how to program it.

The ARS table used for 411 & 1411 is the same as for 911, so that's not a very good option.

I consider the DISALLOW and DISALLOW TO as the way to go in getting this done.

A DISALLOW LIST can be created with those 2 entries, and then you assign it to all phones you do not want to dial those numbers (DISALLOW TO).

It's pretty straight forward, but if you have any problems, re-post.

Thank you. The disallow list did work. I wasn't sure if ARS would override the disallow list.
